Glenn Thomas Walter is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. He is married to Mrs. Paula Jacqueline Walter, with whom he has shared his life for more than twenty one years. They are the grateful parents of three children; Almar, Phillip, and Ashley Nicole.

Elder Walter has served as a consultant to a cross section of industries including major corporations, small businesses, federal government, and institutions of higher learning. He is the founder of Leadership Training Consultants, Incorporated, a certified minority business located in Columbus, Ohio.

Elder Walter is the first African American to be selected as President and CEO of Columbus Works, Inc., one of Central Ohio’s largest United Way sponsored employment and training corporations. As a result of the excellent outcomes, Elder Walter was invited to share his strategies at the United States Department of Labor’s Youth Employment Coalition held in Washington, D.C. In May 2003, he received a United States Congress National Leadership Award for Business Management. In addition to the national award, he was extended a personal invitation to have dinner with President George W. Bush. Elder Walter is also the honored recipient of the prestigious Walter and Marian English Award presented by the United Way agency for outstanding contributions in the field of social services.

Elder Walter is an ordained clergyman and currently serves as associate pastor of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith and Academic Dean of the Ministerial Enhancement Training Seminary, both ministries are located in Columbus, Ohio. Elder Walter is the author of two literary projects. His most recent book is entitled: “Understanding Worship” published by Omega Press.

After graduating from South High School in Youngstown, Ohio, Elder Walter began his post secondary studies at the United States Air Force Community College in Alabama. He was the Class Distinguished Graduate and was awarded the USAF Eagle Grant Award for academic excellence. Additionally, he was awarded an Air Force academic scholarship to pursue higher education. Elder Walter continued his academic studies at Grace College where he earned a degree in education and graduated Magna cum Laude.
