Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith

Dr. Eugene Lundy serves as the Senior Pastor and Chief Executive Officer of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Columbus, Ohio. He was born again of water and spirit November 1959 at Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church in Youngstown, Ohio and was called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in September 1968. In 1973, he was ordained an Elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. by the late Bishop C.R. Lee. Dr. Lundy, at that time served as the Assistant Pastor of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith (1973-1977).

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Lundy received his medical degree from The Ohio State University, his Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and his Bachelor of Science and Education degree from Youngstown State University. He has received two honorary Doctorate degrees: Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Divinity from International Apostolic College of Grace and Truth. He is the father of six children and the husband of Elaine Lundy.

Recognized as an innovative educator, Dr. Lundy is well known throughout the country for his lectures and seminars on topics related to social issues, Wholistic Health Care and Human Development, utilizing Bible-based solutions. Dr. Eugene Lundy is a living example of Philippians 4:13. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

Dr. Lundy's authoritative preaching of God's Word is provocative, providing and promoting a superior level of spiritual, physical and emotional care to our congregation and our community. Through his strong leadership, he has made the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith one of the most prestigious churches, affording Christian education and leadership opportunities to its members.

In addition to his ministerial and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Lundy specializes in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Gerontology. He was a Physician Executive for FHP, Inc., a premiere health maintenance organization in the western United States.

A balance of contemporary and thought and traditional values have placed Dr. Lundy on the cutting edge of what God is doing in the New Testament Church of the nineties and beyond. Those who know Pastor Lundy are aware of his rock-like convictions in the areas of old time Pentecostal doctrines and traditions. However, he is open-minded enough to give consideration to new ideas coming from contemporary thinkers and still not lose the balance in taking God's church to even greater heights.
