What We Believe

The New Birth (or, being born again),

which includes faith in Jesus Christ, which brings genuine repentance of sin, water baptism in Jesus Name, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by the speaking in other tongues as the Sprit gives the utterance;

The Oneness of God, the mystery of the Godhead, that in Him (Jesus) dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily, We do not believe, teach, imply or suggest a trinity (triune, three in one, separate but equal, etc.) Godhead. We further understand that, He (Jesus) is the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration;

Water Baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus is a necessary and ordained practice of New Testament Salvation likewise, the baptism of the Holy Ghost as experienced on the Day of Pentecost;

A Holy, Consecrated and Sanctified Life unto the Lord, for the Lord called us out of the darkness of sin into the marvelous light of His salvation, therefore, we must be holy for He is holy, and walk after the spirit so not to fulfill the lust of the flesh.

We Further Believe that the Bible, the Holy Writ, the Scriptures to be the inspired Holy Word of God. It was written by godly men of old who were moved under the unction and power of the Holy Ghost. Therein it is profitable for doctrine, instruction in righteousness, faith, holy living, reproof, correction, food for the soul, salvation and the mind of God.

Scripture

II Chronicles 7: 12-22

12.  And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto
him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place tomyself for an house of sacrifice.

13.  If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14.  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

15.  Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

16.  For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

17.  And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;

18.  Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

19.  But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

Scripture Cont’d

20.  Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

21.  And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

22.  And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

International Day of Prayer
for the Persecuted Church

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2005
‘STORMING THE STRONGHOLD’

FACT: IN AN EFFORT TO ELIMINATE CHRISTIANS
FROM SOCIETY AROUND THE WORLD, THOUSANDS
OF CHRISTIANS ARE BEING HUNTED DOWN,
PHYSICALLY TORTURED AND MURDERED, MERELY
BECAUSE OF THEIR ALLEGIANCE TO JESUS CHRIST.

      More than 200 million christians face persecution each day, 60% are children.  Every day over 300 are killed for their faith in Jesus Christ.

        The I.D.O.P. is a global day of intercession for persecuted Christians worldwide.  Prayer is also encouraged for the souls of the oppressors, the nations that promote persecution, and those who ignore it.  We believe that prayer changes everything.  Persecuted Christians often plead for prayer to help them endure!

      Real persecution may mean being: Beaten – killed – questioned roughly by polic – arrested – jailed – forbidden to own a Bible – taken away by police in the night and never seen again by family.

      The focus of this year’s Day of Prayer is ver critial.  It is that region of the world devastated by the tsunami last December.  While we no longer hear reports in the media about this region, God has opened a phenomental opportunity for the Gospel.  Muslims who were once trying to rid the region of Christians, are now turning to those same Christians for help – creating an openness to those believers and to the Gospel that is unprecedentd!

      The church in this region is in desperate need of our support to remain strong and be bold in their witness for Christ.

THE LEAST WE CAN DO L- IS THE MOST WE CAN DO – PRAY!
