INTRODUCTION:

With the countless personal, social, national, international, religious, and spiritual issues mankind grapples with in this life that we live, would you like to stop the struggle and break free from the wrestling grips of worldliness and unclean spiritual encounters with demonic forces?  Then learn to worship your way through them!

The Bible declares that when the man with the unclean spirit “saw Jesus . . . he . . .

worshipped him.”

The following outline will give you key biblical insights for your breakthrough from the bondage of evil spirits and satanic invasions into your life.

I.          WORSHIP (Gk: pr_skun__), to make obeisance i.e., a movement of the body expressing deep respect or reverence toward God such as bowing, or paying homage by rendering service or acts of devotion such as prayer, praise, and reverencing religiously.  To acknowledge God, His nature, attributes, ways, commands, promises by the outgoing of the heart in praise and thanksgiving, or by deeds done in His name for His glory including to serve, do service to others is also rendered worshipping.

A.        Key insight: Mark 5:6 “But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.”

1.         This man didn’t wait for an invitation to come to Jesus.

2.         This man didn’t seek to become a member in a church or synagogue before he worshipped Jesus.

3.         This man didn’t get healed or delivered first and worship later.  No, after he started worshipping he was set free.

B.         A key biblical principle pertaining to worship FIRST:

1.         Philippians 2:10-11 “That t the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

2.         Even Satan has to acknowledge God’s ability and willingness to change your situation.  James says, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”

(James 2:19).

3.         When under attack by any enemy or weapon, Isaiah declares for the worshipper of the Kingdom of God these gracious promises:

Isaiah 54:1-8,17.  Note the singing and praising and worshipping precedes your declaration of spiritual invincibility, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper (or prevail); and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

This includes anything that would rise up to destroy you and your family, old wounds, painful memories, addictions, past sins, unclean spirits, they must all bow in submission when the name of Jesus is lifted up in praise.

4.         As the attacks pertain to satanic invasions, note what Jesus declares after he was attacked by Satan, and note the results in Matthew 4:8-11.

(a)       Verse 8,9, - Jesus was tempted to receive kingdoms of the world and the glory of them if he would fall down and worship Satan.

(b)       Verse 10 - Jesus defends himself with the Word of God pertaining to worshipping the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

(c)       Verse 11 - The RESULTS: “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.”

Therefore, once we settle the issue of worshipping God through everything, the devil and his demons will LEAVE YOU ALONE! GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY!

5.         Notice, when the man from the tombs began to worship, the forces of evil cried out, “. . . What have I to do with thee, (or what business do we have with each other) Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? (Mark 5:7).

(a)       The truth is, Satan’s demons have nothing in common with Jesus - no associations and no alliance.

(b)       The only business Jesus has with unclean spirits is to cast them out!

(c)       So all you have to do is worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29:2); and as John declared, as a true worshipper, “worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (John 4:23).

(d)       Worship is your key strategy for your breakthrough.  So begin today and say like the Psalmist David in the following:

1.         Psalm 34:1-3   Worship FIRST then;

2.         Psalm 34:4    Prayers are heard and answered.

3.         Psalm 34:5    First look heavenward in a reverential way, then,

4.         Psalm 34:6    You may cry out to the Lord and He will hear you and save you out of all your troubles.

5.         Psalm 34:7    And the ministering angels, like those that came to Jesus in Matthew 4:11 - will deliver and continue to deliver you.

Then declare Psalm 27:1-6 and recognize over and over again that WORSHIP is the key strategy to all of your breakthroughs.  Start running to Jesus, like the man with the unclean spirits, fall at His feet and begin to WORSHIP your way through.

Hallelujah; GLORY TO GOD!!!
